The Opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is hiring a Slot Shift Assistant Manager to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Slot Shift Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, evaluating the casino floor, and managing assigned floor supervisors, attendants, and technician associates.
Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $56900 - $76800 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities
Assist in the hiring process.
Manage operational needs of the slot department.
Deliver excellent guest service.
Manage large guest wins.
Identify and resolve guest disputes or problems promptly.
Manage competing demands; change approach or method to best fit the situation.
Evaluate the gaming floor and communicate changes or needs to the slot manager.
Inspire and motivate team members to perform well while building group morale.
Create team members schedules and ensure staffing levels are maintained.
Manage team members break and lunch schedules.
Update end-of-shift reports.
Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications
At least three years of experience working in slot operations.
Knowledgeable of gaming floor operations, machine denomination, machine pay tables, and related machine types.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests and associates.
Computer, math, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to follow policies and procedures and complete administrative tasks correctly and on time.
Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
The ability to obtain an Arkansas Gaming License.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk and stand during the entire length of shift.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
