Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Catering Runners to join our EverBank Stadium team in Jacksonville, Florida. Our Busser and Runner team are outgoing, guest oriented team members that contribute to the success of events like luncheons, weddings, proms, business meetings, and other functions. Responsibilities
Set tables and buffet areas for service
Accommodate all guests and addresses inquiries
Replenish buffet food, refill beverages, remove dirty dishes from tables
Assist in additional tasks to help facilitate a smooth and efficient service
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
18 years or older
Customer service oriented, positive attitude, an openness to learn, and desire to contribute to a team
Strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task, work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume fast-paced environment
Very organized with a strong attention to detail and effective communication
Possess basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names
Available for part-time, on-call events that include nights, weekends, and holidays
Basic math skills to accurately account for cash and inventory
No high school diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds for set-up, service, and clean up.
Ability to stand and walk for the entire length of shift, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demand.
Variable temperatures – required to move between hot, noisy conditions of kitchen and climate-controlled dining environment.
Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
Visual acuity and hearing sufficient to take orders
